Dr. Schuyler Brown is Professor Emeritus of New Testament at St. Michael's College, University of Toronto, and lecturer at the C.G. Jung Institute, Zurich. He has a doctorate in Theology from the University of Munster with a specialization in New Testament exegesis, and a licentiate in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Institute. His publications include: Text and Psyche: Experiencing Scripture Today (Chiron Publications, Willmette, Il.); The Origins of Christianity: A Historical Introduction to the New Testament (OUP 1984, rev. ed. 1993); Apostasy and Perseverance in the Theology of Luke (Analecta Biblica 36, Rome, Pontifical Biblical Institute 1969)..
